Anxiety is something that all of us have, just at different levels.  Anxiety is often thought to be a fear of the future. Anxiety can affect our relationships, our jobs, our ability to chase our dreams, and our entire life if we don’t do things to manage it. Anxiety may stem from the worry of how others perceive us and/ or from a fear of rejection. There are so many reasons, level and types of anxiety.  In this episode, Kori shares her own story of anxiety and how it affects her life, at the same time coming victorious despite it all. Anxiety is often thought to be a fear of the future. Anxiety can affect our relationships, our jobs, our ability to chase our dreams, and our entire life if we don’t do things to manage it. Anxiety may stem from worry of how others perceive us and/ or from a fear of rejection. There are so many reasons, level and types of anxiety.  When we have a tendency to please everyone around us, anxiety is very likely to be prevalent in our lives. When we want to control what happens in the future, anxiety exists as well also.

When humans experience worry, stress, insecurity, and fear, these are signs that you might be dealing with anxiety. These reactions are normal for all human beings, but some of us are affected more than others. And it is worth noting that anxiety can actually be helpful as it propels us to do better at what we do, it inspires us to achieve more in our life. But on the other end, this very same anxiety is what keeps playing small.  It keeps us from taking leaps of faith that are so important when chasing a dream and fully embracing the potential of what we can do for ourselves and this world. Human nature craves for what is familiar, thus, we stay in our comfort zones. Educating yourself on anxiety and how to live with it might just change your life in a really big way.

In this episode, Kori shares her own story of anxiety and how it has affected her life. She reveals how she has learned how to balance her anxiety so that it is no longer debilitating and not keeping her feeling “stuck.”  She also shares a few of her favorite tools and techniques to minimize anxiety so you can feel peaceful and calm on a more regular basis.
